It is crucial to pay attention to the content of folic acid in products, which helps to prevent birth defects and ensures the normal fetal development.
Diet for the expecting mother
The nutrition of the expecting mother throughout the pregnancy in general and in the early stages in particular should be varied, balanced and healthy. You’ll have to give up smoked, spicy, fried food. Preference should be given to steamed, stewed, and boiled dishes. More fresh vegetables and fruits, herbs and berries. It is advisable to keep away from fizzy drinks (lemonade, Pepsi and cola). Go easy on coffee, chocolate, citrus fruits and honey (products with a high risk of allergies).
